About the role
We're looking for a Director of Finance Operations to lead and modernize our global finance operations function. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the CFO, spanning Accounting, Consolidation, AP, AR, Payroll, Tax Operations, and Treasury.
You'll own the full scope of finance operations, ensuring scalable, efficient, and compliant processes, while driving finance transformation across systems, automation, controls, and organizational design. It's a role that combines strong controllership with hands-on transformation leadership, all with a clear mandate: build a world-class finance function capable of supporting international growth, operational scalability, and future IPO / public company readiness.

About the team
You'll lead Accounting, Consolidation, AP, AR, Payroll, Tax Operations, and Treasury a multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction organization. You'll work closely with FP&A, RevOps, HR, Legal, Compliance, and IT/Data teams, as well as with external auditors and advisors. Together with the CFO, you'll play a key part in operational scaling, governance initiatives, and finance strategy execution.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop the global finance operations organization, ensuring high-quality financial reporting, efficient transaction processing, strong internal controls, and scalable operations across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
Own month-end, quarterly, and annual close, group consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, balance sheet integrity, statutory reporting coordination, and audit readiness ensuring timely, accurate reporting compliant with IFRS / local GAAP.
Lead Accounts Payable with a focus on process efficiency, automation, controls, and vendor management optimizing working capital while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Lead Accounts Receivable and collections to improve cash flow, DSO, billing accuracy, and the customer payment experience. Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps to strengthen billing governance and support scalable quote-to-cash.
Ensure accurate and compliant payroll operations across all relevant jurisdictions, overseeing payroll vendors, controls, reporting, and benefits coordination in partnership with HR.
Oversee operational tax processes including VAT / sales tax, payroll tax coordination, transfer-pricing support, and tax reporting, coordinating external tax advisors and ensuring strong governance.
Own operational treasury and cash management in a multi-currency environment: intercompany funding, cash pooling, liquidity management, and bank relationship management.
Lead finance transformation across ERP optimization, automation and AI enablement, process standardization, shared-service optimization, and KPI-driven operational reporting, building scalable processes for international growth, acquisitions, and future public company requirements.
Build and lead a high-performing finance operations organization with strong ownership, accountability, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate combines strong accounting and operational finance expertise with proven transformation leadership, and is comfortable operating in complex, international, multi-entity structures.
Experience from international SaaS, technology, or other high-growth environments
Extensive experience in finance operations and controllership, 15+ years
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Deep controllership foundation across close, consolidation, and controls
IFRS and international accounting experience
ERP and finance systems implementation experience
Prior experience in scale-up, PE-backed, or public company environments
Proven record leading and driving finance modernization and operational scalability
Proven experience from acquisitions
